The piledriver recorded from more distance than the first recording, with some area traffic noise and lacking any distinct echo materials at the point of capture. (sample shortened due to windy conditions. ).

This was another recording i did whilst i was on a terrence. It is more dirty as there there is a lot of background noise.

It's a funky mid-side configuration with dissimilar mics, i wanted to try this, expecting the at4040 to be a step up over the akg perception 220, but i knew this would be more dissimilar to the akg 220+400 pair. . . I've begun to notice how peaky the akgs can up around 5k-10k. What do you think?.

On this lo-fi recording, corn grains are sitting in a frying pan and begin to pop as the oil is hissing. It provides an interesting and regular popping sound suitable for mid-range frequencies. The recording is done with a tie-microphone, and extra treatment is done on audacity to reduce noise and isolate the sound.

A mid morning field recording on 05 march 2021 in our rural garden. There is a road at the side of the garden but i have removed what i could hear of the few cars that passed by. Also removed sounds of a gate and doors opening and closing. There was a slight breeze that a wind sock didn't entirely prevent coming through as wind noise. I have cut most of this.

Mid-distance city noise/traffic echoing among buildings on a backyard. Cars, motorcycle. Night. Recorded with zoom h4n-pro 48 khz / 24 bit. Use freely on your personal commercial and non-commercial projects. Don't put this raw sounds/files on youtube or anywhere else. Firepoker use sounds: poking some burnt logs (no fire), pulling poker out of fireplace tool bucket and gate, hitting other metal with poker.
